Presentation: Allied Health workforce and university pathways.

Hannah works with Marathon Health as an occupational therapist, based remotely from the Dubbo head office, working from the country town of Coonamble. She provides OT services to NDIS participants within Nyngan, Warren and Bourke communities. Hannah studied at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She completed Marathon Health’s new graduate program and her new grad year in 2023 and has enjoyed continuing to work with the amazing Marathon Health team since. 

Hannah, will outline what allied health is, the role of occupational therapists and speech pathologists and the university pathways to an allied health career, including what to study, how many years of university it takes, what was covered in the course and life as a uni student.
