Orana Youth Forum

The inaugural Orana Youth Forum 2024 Provides an opportunity for young people in the region to hear from business, industry leaders universities and training providers about jobs for the future.

An engaging line-up of speakers will present at the Forum with official opening keynote speakers followed by an industry and opportunities session focused on energy, mining, agriculture, health, education and training and construction. The afternoon session will feature an interactive workshop with University of NSW Senior Lecturer, Sandeep Kirpalani who will focus on careers in new energy, circular economies and sustainability.

The Forum will feature more than 25 exhibitors from a cross-section of vocational, apprenticeship and traineeship providers as well as industry and business representation, government and tertiary/university institutions.

Playground
Playground

The outside exhibition space will utilise the Dubbo Regional Council carpark and Victoria Park, and will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to engage with heavy machinery, meet sporting greats and get involved in outdoor activities.
