Having raised a family here and actively engaged with community groups, schools, sporting organisations, and local businesses, Julie embodies the heart of what makes the Dubbo/Wellington community thrive. Her professional journey includes working with the Dubbo and Wellington Visitor Information Centres, where she focused on fostering relationships between businesses and residents, organizing events, and championing initiatives like the Evocities and New Residents programs.

Julie’s passion for the region is driven by her love for connecting people and showcasing the unique qualities that make Dubbo region an exceptional place to live, work, and grow. Whether hosting visitors, coordinating community events, or promoting local assets to international clients, Julie's dedication to highlighting the area's strengths is unwavering.

Currently, Julie is channeling her energy and expertise into The Welcome Experience project, where her goal is to create meaningful, inclusive experiences that demonstrate the benefits of living in Dubbo region. She believes that building strong, welcoming connections is key to fostering a sense of belonging for newcomers. Guided by her personal motto, “You are important to me,” Julie is committed to helping others feel at home in the community she holds so dear.
