Migration Officer

Sophia Johnson brings a wealth of experience in research, project management, and stakeholder engagement to her role as Migration Officer at RDA Orana. With a strong background in data analysis and policy development, Sophia is responsible for managing all Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) applications across the region.

Prior to joining RDA Orana, Sophia served as a Research Associate at the University of Sydney, where she led and contributed to several high-impact projects—including an award-winning workforce integration initiative recognised for its research excellence. Her ability to synthesise complex data into practical insights and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders is a key asset to the team.

Based in Dubbo for the past eight years, Sophia is passionate about using her academic expertise to deliver real-world outcomes that support regional development and strengthen community resilience.
