Regional Development Australia (RDA) Orana Board Chair Brad Cam, has been reappointed to the role for a second term and will lead the organisation for a further four years.
Mr Cam has held the position of Chair since 2020 and has overseen the growth of the organisation, guiding the board and working alongside CEO Justine Campbell.
His priorities for the next four years include housing, workforce development, lobbying efforts for the Golden Highway Taskforce, facilitating new partnerships across the region and leveraging opportunities from major government initiatives like the NSW government's Renewable Energy Zone and the Commonwealth government's Inland Rail Project.
Mr Cam is already a key figure in regional development through his position as general manager of Mid-Western Regional Council.
He is passionate about growing industry, expanding the economy, creating opportunities and helping businesses overcome the obstacles they may face across the Orana region.
Mr Cam is also the Chair of Housing Plus, a not-for-profit organisation and has more than 20 years’ experience as a Housing Plus Board member including 11 years’ experience as the Chair. He is the sponsoring General Manager of the Orana Water Utilities Alliance, and more recently, was appointed Chair of the Royalties for Rejuvenation – Central West Expert Panel.
RDA Orana CEO, Justine Campbell welcomed the announcement and said she was pleased to be working with Brad to continue to build the organisation.
